Fuelico Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Fuelico processes, why it is used, and what happens when you delete your account.

1. Data we process
We process sign-in data supplied through Supabase Auth and, where selected, Google or Apple; display name, provider avatar, profile and vehicle photos you upload, language and preferences; vehicles and optional registration or VIN details; refuels, expenses, notes and locations you choose to save; memberships, invitations and audit events required for shared work.
2. Location and fuel stations
Precise location is requested only when you choose to search for nearby fuel stations. It is used to calculate the search and is not saved to your profile or history. Google Maps may process technical device and usage data under its own terms.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use data to create and protect the account, provide requested features, synchronize shared vehicles, maintain service integrity and security, and meet legal obligations. Core processing is necessary to provide the service you request; security controls also support legitimate interests and applicable obligations.
4. Providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage and server functions. Images you upload are sent compressed to OpenAI for automatic evaluation and may then be reviewed manually. Rejected images are withdrawn and deleted; we retain a rejection record and penalty count while the account is active. Google and Apple are involved when you choose their sign-in methods; Google Maps is involved when displaying the map on Android. We do not sell personal data or use advertising analytics in the current version.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain data while the account is active. On deletion, we remove the sign-in identity, profile, and exclusively owned vehicles. Movements and events already shared with other people may remain to preserve a reliable history, but are unlinked from the profile, email, avatar, and sign-in provider and shown as belonging to a deleted account. Technical copies may remain during the provider’s limited recovery cycle before being overwritten.
6. Your rights
You can review and correct data in Fuelico, delete your account from Settings, and request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability through the contact shown on this page. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
7. Security and transfers
We use encrypted connections, protected on-device sessions, per-vehicle permissions, and server-side controls. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in their terms and data protection agreements.
8. Changes to this policy
We will publish the current policy and its date here. We will communicate material changes through the app or another reasonable channel.
